TYEGD consider gender equality and social inclusion as community basic need, each projects and programs within the organization insures the outreach woman and girls in the community .TYEGD dedicate at empowering and involving woman and girls in economic activities by showing them the way and how they can achieve their economic goals. Through the ACAI project ,we have been able to reach women by providing them with new agricultural technologies of cassava farming ,also the project was able to link women’s agricultural groups to access interest-free loans that are provided by the Council from its own source .Women are capacitated their ability in various social activities ,since women are more than a half of Kilimo Thabiti Citizen Scientists who were trained to take measurements of rain gauge and moisture meter and submit their data to the database for forecast activities
